The Shore House bed and breakfast offers nine lakefront guest rooms, each with its own special features and charm. All of our luxurious rooms have a private outdoor entrance, private bathroom, gas log fireplace, LCD TV, Coffee Maker with Freshly ground coffee and mini-refrigerator. Each room is decorated with knotty pine walls, custom built log furniture, and Scandia Down comforters and featherbeds. The Shore House also offers a large outdoor hot tub by the lake to enjoy a gorgeous Tahoe sunset after a day of skiing.

The Pine Room, on our ground floor, is one of our largest rooms and offers a king size log bed, gas log fireplace and a private pine bathroom. Opa's Room, on our upper floor is one of our larger rooms with a gas log fireplace and a king size bed, looking out over our lawns and gardens. This room includes a luxurious 2 person whirlpool tub in the bed room. The walls of the private bathroom with shower are adorned with hand painted ivy vines. Tree House Enter the Tree House on our upper floor  between the trunks of two towering Ponderosa Pines. Sleep in a cozy queen size log bed in this room decorated in a Native American motif and gas log fireplace. The picture window overlooks our grounds with a peek at the lake and is just a few steps from our upper terrace. The bathroom includes a bathtub and shower. The Art Studio offers a queen size log bed and gas log fireplace. The ceiling to floor sliding glass doors and window looks out across our gardens to Lake Tahoe. Recreate the mountain scene in pastels on the sketch pad and easel provided for your creative pleasure. The custom tiled bathroom offers a 2 person walk-in shower. This room is wheelchair accessible. The Moon Room,  on the ground floor, is our largest room with a king size log bed , gas log fireplace and ceiling painted like a Tahoe evening sky complete with stars and moon. The Forest Room: Imagine the deep green carpet as wild grass beneath your feet, and the light pine walls as sun filtering through pine trees...Soak in  the luxurious two person whirlpool tub and shower in the main room and read in the two log lounge chairs in the sitting area around the gas log fireplace. Enjoy the art of the forest from the queen size log bed. This room is on the ground floor and has a separate pine bathroom tiled with a beautiful flower motif.  (max. 2 persons). The Terrace Room leads out to our upper terrace through ceiling to floor sliding glass doors. It has a queen size log bed and gas log fireplace with small sitting area. The Lakeview Room Lie in the queen size log bed and look out the ceiling to floor sliding glass doors to a gorgeous view across our gardens to the ever changing colors and moods of Lake Tahoe and its majestic mountains.  The gas log fireplace gives the room a cozy feel.  Enjoy the shower in the bathroom, which is painted like an underwater Tahoe scene complete with Mackinaw and Rainbow trout.  This room is on the upper floor.  (max. 2 persons).  Click the room name to see pictures.    Back to Top

• We have a 2 night minimum May 22 thru Sept. 26, and a 3 night minimum on holidays and Special Event Weekends, but we often have 1 night opening between reservations on weekends and holidays. Please don't hesitate to call if you don't meet our minimum stays. 
• There are no  telephones in our rooms to disturb your peace, however telephones are available 24 hours a day in our lakefront dining room.  Telephone lines for internet connections are available in our dining room as well and DSL wireless connections property wide.
• All of our rooms have CD Players, LCD TVs, Hairdryers, Coffee Makers and Fresh ground coffee, Mini Refrigerators, Irons and Ironing Boards. 
• For the comfort of our other guests, smoking is not permitted in any of our guest rooms, dining room or Hot Tub area. 
• Sorry, no pets.
