Maximum Occupancy: Our guest rooms accommodate a maximum of two people. (This includes children and infants, sorry but no exceptions can be made).

Recommended Age: 14 years and older.  We love the kids, but our property is not set up to be safe for children.

Visitors: If you have Visitors meet you at the Shore House, feel free to show them around the property, but please understand that the use of our property and it's amenities are for Shore House guests only. We have parking on site only for Shore House guests.

Advance Payment: We charge a one night advance payment at the time of reservation. The balance of your room charge is due upon arrival and will be charged on the day of your arrival, on the same credit card that you used for your advance payment, unless other arrangements are made in advance. Your Obligation is for the full length of your reservation. Early departures constitute a cancellation. Changes to your reservation will be considered a cancellation and re-booking.

Non-Holiday Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made 14 days or more before your arrival date will receive a refund of your advance payment, Minus a $25 processing fee. Cancellations made closer than 14 days of your arrival date, will receive a refund minus a $25 processing fee, only if we can re-rent the room for your entire stay.

Holidays and Special Events Cancellation Policy: Full payment will be collected up to 30 days before arrival. Cancellations made 30 days or more before arrival will receive a refund of your advance payment, Minus a $25 processing fee per room. Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival will receive a refund minus a $25 processing fee, only for those nights that we can re-rent your room.

Group Reservations Cancellation Policy (More Than 2 Rooms to any one group even if rooms are rented individually): Same as Holiday Cancellation Policy.

Maximum number of rooms: We rent a maximum of 4 rooms to any one group. If you require more than 4 rooms, please call us at 800-207-5160.

Check-in and Check-out: Our regular check-In time is 4 - 6pm. We may not be available before 4pm. We never guarantee an early check-in until the morning of the check-in. Call us between 8am and 10am on the morning of your check-in and let us know when you would like to arrive. We will do all that we can to have your room ready for you at that time. Please advise us in advance for arrivals later than 6pm. Our Check-Out time is 11am.

Parking: We have one parking space for each of our guest rooms. Please be courteous of our other guests and neighbors by being quiet in our parking lot at night. Please park carefully between the lines.

Special Needs: Please let us know if you are allergic to down or have any other special needs.

Telephones: There are no telephones in our rooms to disturb your peace, however, a telephone is available 24 hours a day, in our dining room.

Wireless Internet Access: We offer free Hi Speed wireless internet access on our property, or dialup connections in our dining room.

Other Amenities: TVs, Coffee makers, refrigerators, robes, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards are provided in all rooms.

Smoking: Please, absolutely NO SMOKING indoors or in the Hot Tub area. You may smoke in our parking lot, or the designated smoking area on the lake front lawn if it will not disturb other guests

Pets: Sorry, but NO GUEST PETS are allowed on the property.

Be Prepared in the Colder Months: Tahoe is a Wonderland in the winter if you are prepared with proper boots, snow tires and carry chains. Always watch for slippery streets and walkways.

Privacy: We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell
your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

This property is privately owned: We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone at any time. Guests of the Shore House take responsibility and agree to pay for any damages that they or their guests may cause with the credit card used for this reservation or other means. Guests will not hold the Shore House responsible for accidents or injuries to themselves or their guests, caused by their own actions. The Shore House cannot be responsible for valuables unless they are placed in our safe. If you do not completely vacate your room by the check-out time on your departure date, we may charge your credit card for another night or we have the right under California law to enter your room, and make that room available to an arriving guest. We will keep your belongings for 90 days and will return them to you upon request.
A $200 cleaning fee will be charged to your Credit Card if you smoke in your room.
